I hated the feeling of shoelaces tucked inside my shoes and tried various methods but all were irritating and uncomfortable. The. While searching for a solution I saw an ad for these and decided to give them a try on my minimalist white leather sneakers. I am so pleased at how well they work. They actually improved the fit because the elastic helps keep the shoe tighter on my foot without any pressure points. I am replacing the laces now in the rest of my collection with these.
Just one caveat – you may need shoe trees for your shoes. The elastic pulls the shoes tightly closed when not on the foot and I’m concerned over time it may distort the shape of the shoe. But inserting a shoe tree helps counter that and maintain the proper shape.
I tied other brands with similar idea of getting rid of the shoe laces but found that they created pressure points on parts of my foot while running, this one solves the problem, is very elastic and easy to adjust after initial run.
